the fabric
-
Supima cotton has 35% longer fibers, so every piece is softer, stronger, and holds its shape wash after wash.
-
Cashmere-merino where you want warmth, open diamond panels where you want air. Extremely luxurious to touch.
-
Drawn by hand and made in small, numbered runs instead of mass production.
Be extremely kind to everyone. You never know the battles people are going through.

the better world club
Giving back is why Sadboys exists. This season we're giving $1,000 toward children's education in Asia and Africa, and we'll post every receipt.
the story
Sadboys Worldwide was born from heartbreak in December 2018. Everything since says one thing: whatever you feel, you are not alone in it.

the guide
A free guide from us to you: how fabric changes the way you feel, and what to wear for the weather you're in.
materials and mood
| Material | How it feels, best for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
Soft, familiar and breathable. Made for relaxed, everyday wear. | Soaks up sweat and dries slowly, so it can feel clammy in humid heat or hard workouts. |
Airy and crisp: the summer-vacation fabric. Very breathable. | Wrinkles easily, dries slowly, and can feel rough until it breaks in. |
Warm without the weight. Resists odor and evens out your temperature. Great for travel and layering. | Some people find it itchy, especially coarser wool. |
Smooth, cool to the touch and luxurious. Calming on sensitive skin. | Delicate and expensive, and can be slippery or fussy to care for. |
Light, supportive and quick to dry. Feels energizing. | Can hold onto odor and feel plasticky when wet. Not made for lounging. |
Cozy, warm and soft. Feels like comfort and safety. | Can overheat indoors and may pill over time. |
Structured and durable. Feels grounded and confident. | Stiff raw denim takes time to break in. |
Soft warmth with a calm, cocoon feeling. | Costly, and needs gentle care. |
season and climate
The best fabric for your mood is usually the one that keeps your body comfortable. Overheating, chill, damp and itch all drag your mood down.
| Climate | What to wear |
|---|---|
Loose linen, light cotton or silk. Let air move, and cover up from the sun. |
Loose, breathable weaves. Merino or quick-dry fabrics help. Skip heavy cotton once you sweat, because it stays wet. |
A merino base layer, a fleece mid layer, then wool or down on top. Layers put you in control. |
A waterproof, breathable shell over insulating layers. Don't rely on cotton for warmth: it loses it when wet. |
Merino tees, light knits, cotton-blend overshirts and packable jackets. Easy to add and take off. |
Polyester, nylon or merino blends that wick and dry fast. Skip heavy cotton for long sessions. |
